Tools we use and develop.
Autodev (short for Automated Development) is our primary development platform. It's written in PHP 5.1 and contains an intuitive administration interface which is XML-configured and provides data validation, hierarchical data access, and search and export functions. The interface works on top of Autodev's library functions for manipulating MySQL databases and their content. We use Autodev to rapidly generate functional management systems for a wide variety of data, and to develop reusable modules that can be applied to any number of websites. All of our systems are administered through Autodev, so you can be guaranteed that there will be a single, consistent administrative interface across all areas of your site or application, and that you'll only need to remember one set of login credentials.
Our Content Management System (CMS) works with Autodev and allows administrators to add, edit and delete pages. Each page has its own search engine-friendly URL, and has an editable region that allows an administrator to input text, images and downloadable files. Each page can also contain any number of searchable articles which can be ordered by date, title, or ordered manually. The CMS supports meta-data entry such as HTML keywords and descriptions for Search Engine Optimisation purposes.
Our Mailing list facility is a robust system that has been shown to deliver reliably to tens of thousands of recipients. Users can register in any number of groups, each of which may be public or private (private group subscriptions are managed by an administrator). The system sends rich text email content administered via Autodev's web interface, and integrated with HTML templates that provide the look and feel.
Our Shopping cart facility is a simple system for selling online that integrates with online payment systems such as eWay or Paypal. It allows any number of products to be added in any number of categories, handles GST and calculates shipping based on the type and quantity of products being ordered.
Our Blog module is a simple system for managing one or more blogs without needing to install additional 3rd party software. It supports comments and tags and comes with a CAPTCHA system where you can write your own questions and answers in order to foil spambots that want to fill your blog with junk.
JobLogger has been built to simplify project management and enhance communication between us and our clients. It enables clients and developers alike to be constantly in touch with the progress of a project, right down to each individual task.
